Accident Prevention Classes

All instructors are certified by the Empire Safety Council to teach this New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Defensive Driving and Point Insurance Reduction Program and are approved to conduct the Accident Prevention Workshops (APW) through the Empire Safety Council of New York.

  • To guarantee a seat in the class, call (518) 784-5010 anytime & advise if the Tues/Thurs evening classes or Full Day Saturday class is preferred. Walk-ins are welcome - "First-Come, First-Served".

  • A $5.00 Discount applies ONLY IF payment is received BEFORE scheduled classes. All Classes are only $45 per person if prepaid or $50.00 if paid at the door. 

  • Six hour evening workshop consists of two 3 hour sessions, 
    Tuesday & Thursday, beginning at 6:30 pm & ends at 9:30 pm each night.

  • Full Day Saturday Classes begin at 9:00 am & end at 3:00 pm.

  • Full Day Saturday Classes begin at 9:00 am & end at 3:15 pm. Class begins promptly at 9:00 am. Students must be seated with all paperwork completed. Absolutely no admittance after 9:00 am.
